George Lucas in Love

September 19, 2007 on 10:16 pm | In Sci-Fi, Star Wars |

A humorous and witty look at how George Lucas might have gotten his ideas for the Star Wars series of movies. Probably not the most laugh-out-loud funny Star Wars short on the web, but it certainly might be the most clever and well-thought-out one.

If you can’t tell from the title, it was inspired by the movie Shakespeare in Love.

The short begins with George Lucas, who is attending USC in 1967, having trouble trying to figure out what he is going to write about for a school assignment that is due in a matter of days.

  1. Awesome! Great surprise ending. This is a perfect example of what writing teachers are always telling you: write what you know!
